So, I went to Manchester and Leeds like last last weekend which was nice. I might do a blogpost on the trip because it was really fun but I am still also processing. But yeah when I came back, I admittedly did not feel that great. There is just so much like flu, covid and sickness about at the moment so yeah I got sort of sick. Also I have low haemoglobin. So yeah, I have sort of just been at home recovering. I got a food delivery from Ocado, so I have been testing out so many nice summery recipes (a delicious ricotta and rainbow chard pasta, and also a halloumi and chickpea bake). Anyway, I am feeling much better now and so excited to be blogging again. 

What I have been up to

I watched the film Cruel Intentions. Its a bit like Gossip Girl. I really liked it and would defo recommend. Maybe I need to write like a list of films which are like 90s, aesthetic and happy hippo approved.

I also watched The Crush which has Alicia Silverstone in. This film was sort of scary. It is currently on Netflix and I would recommend if you want something sort of chill to watch. It has like a 90s aesthetic. 

I have also been out for cocktails once I felt a bit better. My friend and I had some Mead on some random steps in town. It is a bit random admittedly. Btw if you do not know what Mead is, it is like a alcoholic beverage made from fermented honey. I never have any photos these days because my uni friends are really not photogenic.

What am I up to next

I am planning to go to France next week. If you read my Storm Eunice blogpost you will know that I tried to go but my passport had expired. It is just so funny to me that I went back to London with only summery clothes and yet experienced some of the worst weather I have ever been in. I am so excited, I already have a long list of things I want to do. I am thinking a film night because I haven't had a film night with my sister in years. There are a few foods that I want to get while I am there.

Anyway I am planning on posting a blogpost while I am out there. I have quite a lot of work due in the the end of April but I am really looking forward to it. I am just going to enjoy it. I have three 3400 word essays due on the topics of Victorian Gothic, Modernism writings on the City and also Romantic Poetry 2nd gen. I am just going to enjoy it get lots of study snacks and have lots of fun study breaks. Yeah it should be really nice. I am feeling really confident. 

Life Updates

My family is moving houses soon which is quite exciting. But yeah while I am home I sort of have to start sorting things out but yeah it has been actually quite chill.

Anyway, sorry that was totally random. But yeah I will be posting soon!
